Live DMA is a European network for live music venues and festivals, registered as non-profit association under the French law of 1901. The Live DMA coordination office is based at 35 rue Crucy, 44000 Nantes, France.

Since 2012, Live DMA has been articulating the challenges faced by live music venues and festivals in Europe. We believe that there is a need for preserving and supporting popular live music, and we are striving to maintain a sustainable economic, political, social and cultural foundation of the sector. We want to advance the recognition of music venues and festivals as being significant contributors of culture.

In order to accomplish this mission, Live DMA disseminates the following:

– information about the network’s activities, projects, members, and partners;

– information, debates, ideas, and exchanges about European policies, legislations, and regulations, that have an impact on the development of the European live music sector and the cultural development of the European project in general;

– information, ideas, statements and positions that promote popular live music in particular, and culture in general, as necessary condition for sustainable development towards citizens, their organizations, the public and private sector and all European institutions and as well other relevant bodies and institutions in Europe, member states and international institutions that influence the European context.
