LiveKomm

LiveKomm is the unique confederation of popular music venues in Germany. A gathering of several diverse actors in the music industry from Hamburg to Berlin, have led to the creation of LiveKomm, who operates nationally and also internationally through Live DMA. For now, LiveKomm promotes and facilitates the political interest for musical venues at regional, national and European levels. Advocacy on those levels is vital for achieving understanding, acceptance, and support for the venues in Germany. The priorities of the confederation are following: to improve the working conditions for music venues, to offer counseling and educational programs, to access and develop the economic, cultural and social impact of club culture with a focus on the youth and artists. Furthermore, LiveKomm is coordinating and managing a fund dedicated to the advancement and digitalization of the music venues’ equipment.
